Fear

The invisible thread that holds the modern world together is slowly pulling apart around us. The shared economic benefit that most western nations relied on and many third world countries tired to court are now crumbling. As this process continues, may festering angers that have existed between the two main political parties in America are growing. I just recently watched a video that was filmed in front a republican political rally and was appalled at what I saw. The unfounded anger that some of these people had at so called "liberals" was truly frightening. We've allowed the media and the political spin doctors to take man's natural aversion to "them" and ramp it up to a fevered pitch. Will history talk of Liberals and Republicans with the same hushed tones they use for Hutu and Tutsi? I'm afraid of what could happen.
